We are delighted to offer a FREE breakfast provision in school for our children.
The breakfast, provided by the National School Breakfast Programme, is available during Breakfast Club (7.40-8.40am) and includes bagels and a variety of cereals. Each class also has a box of toasted bagels in their classroom for when doors open at 8.40am, so that EVERY child can eat their bagel while completing their early morning activity.
The National School Breakfast Programme is funded by the Department for Education and run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide ALL of our children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day.
Family Action is committed to supporting child development, and believe a healthy school breakfast, without barrier or stigma, can set up children to succeed and give them the very best chance to learn.
Feedback from our children and parents has been fantastic since we began our partnership with Family Action in September 2020.
School dinners are prepared onsite by caterlink catering company in our newly-refurbished onsite kitchen. The cost of a school dinner is £2.54 per day/£12.70 per week.
Children in Reception/ Year 1 and Year 2 fall under universal free school meals and therefore do not have to pay for school meals.
The method of payment is on-line using Parent Pay. Activation letters are available from the school office in order for you to set up an online account to pay for your child’s dinner.
If your child has an appointment and will be late into school, please ring the school office before 9.30am to book your child’s dinner.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible please pop in to the School Office for some help.
