Our values-based school cultivates curiosity and creativity through an inspiring and aspirational curriculum where learning is at the heart of all that we do. Our children are empowered to become resilient, responsible and confident in a safe and supportive environment. Everyone is challenged and championed to thrive and achieve as individuals, helping them to find their place in the world.

We are a ‘restorative practice’ school which means that we encourage and our children to problem-solve and deal with conflicts by talking things through in a supportive and safe environment. This has been something we have invested in for staff training and are finding the results are very positive and the approach support our values approach to behaviour and learning.
The school was awarded a Mental Health Champions award in 2019 based around the 5 ways to well-being, with a recognition that this is an important element to our school.
Links are made within PSHE lessons to this to provide children with ways of looking after themselves.
