Religious education is highly valued at Queen Margaret Primary Academy. We aim to ignite a sense of awe and wonder in our children as they seek to discover meaning in the world in which they live. We foster curiosity and challenge children’s thinking through thought-provoking questions about such things as the meaning of life, beliefs about God and what it means to be human. We enable children to learn about and from religions and world views, and help develop personal opinions and ideas. We believe learning in RE should help children understand values such as mutual respect and tolerance and begins to prepare our children for their future place in society.
